1. Much of the Atlanta Falcons fanbase has already had an eye on the monster that is Jordan Davis

In every Georgia Bulldogs game you viewed this season there was one standout defensive player, lineman Jordan Davis. Davis is obviously ready for the next level absolutely destroying any offensive line you put in front of him.

Running the ball up the middle when Jordan Davis is on the field is an option, just a potentially disastrous one. Davis takes up so much space and pushes opposing centers and guards into the backfield tackling any would-be rushers or taking on a double team and allowing a teammate to stop the run.

Davis is an elite prospect that fits exactly what Atlanta needs. Atlanta’s defensive line was destroyed by opposing offensive lines for much of the season. Grady Jarrett was the lone bright spot and had no help around him.

Imagine Jarrett and Davis paired in the middle of the Atlanta Falcons defensive line. You would have two great linemen that are going to fix the Falcons’ problems against the rush. The only problem with this potential pick is it doesn’t fix one of Atlanta’s two most glaring issues.

Receivers and pass rushers are the top two needs for the Falcons this off-season. Davis can rush the passer but at defensive tackle, he is going to be more of a disrupter and a run stopper than a pass rusher at the next level. Still, Davis is a player that Atlanta must consider and certainly someone that could help fix the Atlanta defense.
