5. Avery Williams is a surprise addition to a list full of stars

Avery Williams could be considered an odd choice but if you watched the 2021 Atlanta Falcons closely you know why he made the list. Avery seemed to always be around the football and on the cusp of making a huge play.

He is an exciting player who managed to stand out on what was an objectively bad roster.  Whether or not he can take a step forward in 2022 with an increased role remains to be seen but he has earned the opportunity.

Aside from Williams and the four players listed above him, it is hard to determine any other players who would be off the board when it comes to trades. Calvin Ridley’s future is up in the air and while Atlanta shouldn’t trade him they need to do what is best for the receiver.

Grady Jarrett and Deion Jones are both on high-paying contracts and could be moved on from within the next two years.

Deion in particular didn’t seem to fit in the scheme and took a step back this past season. Jarrett is a monster and a player Atlanta could build around but with the second-highest cap hit behind Matt Ryan, it may be tempting to move on from the defensive tackle at some point.

Regardless of their decisions, Atlanta is in for an interesting off-season in a division that suddenly seems to be wide open.
