3. Dee Alford and Grady Jarrett

This duo making the game-winning plays so perfectly sums up this Atlanta Falcons team as a whole. Jarrett is one of the few remaining Atlanta veterans desperate to be a part of a culture change and watch this team turn the corner. Dee Alford a young corner who was one of the great stories of the Atlanta Falcons preseason fighting his way onto the roster and carving out a contributing role on a rebuilding Atlanta defense.

Both perfectly illustrate the effort and shift in culture that Arthur Smith and Dean Pees are trying to bring to Atlanta. Jarrett’s sack on Brissett was simply about the veteran wanting it more bulldozing his way into the Browns quarterback to put the offense in a tight situation.

Brissett forced a throw into tight coverage on the next play and Alford shut the door and ended any hopes of a Cleveland comeback win.  Just as was the case last week, however, the Falcons’ secondary got the chance to end the game because of the situation Grady Jarrett put the team in.
