3 Atlanta Falcons who must deliver against Los Angeles Chargers
By Nick Halden
3. Kyle Pitts
This offense looked entirely different against the Panthers when Kyle Pitts was consistently touching the football. Atlanta will need a huge game from either Drake London or Kyle Pitts to have a chance to pull off the upset against the Chargers.
Part of Kyle’s lack of production this season has been by design due to who his quarterback is and the lack of faith Arthur Smith has in the passing game. Pitts has been great at blocking and creating space for the Atlanta running backs or Mariota. When he has gotten a chance to touch the football he has made the most of it including against the Panthers when he put together his best game of the season.
Atlanta is going to need at least that level of production from Kyle in week nine to have a chance against Herbert and the Chargers’ offense. Pitts is a walking mismatch and despite Mariota’s issues throwing the ball, the Atlanta offense should be able to consistently scheme to put the ball in his hands.
