4. Tampa Bay Bucs

If Matt Ryan stays patient and wants a chance to start from week one it is hard to see a clear fit. It will have to be a team that has missed out on this year’s top quarterbacks and is forced to settle for a veteran option.  It is difficult to believe any of this year’s top free agents or trade targets at quarterback will want to follow Tom Brady in Tampa.

The Bucs’ options are going to be limited despite having an impressive trio of receivers in Russell Gage, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin under contract. Expectations are going to be low for Kyle Trask and Tampa will likely look for a veteran to come in and compete with plenty of offensive weapons and still a solid defensive core.

Ryan would have a chance to exact a bit of revenge on Arthur Smith’s Falcons and a chance to put up great numbers with great receivers. The one problem with this fit is the obvious fact that Tampa is a team heading in the wrong direction. Ryan landing here would be about the chance to haunt the Falcons and put up big numbers in an offense that is going to be desperate for a quarterback and completely reliant on the passing game.
