1. Kirk Cousins would agree to play for the Minnesota Vikings
Kirk Cousins decided between returning to Minnesota or joining the Atlanta Falcons last offseason. He loved playing for them and would love to return after a tough season.
Kevin O'Connell has a lot of decisions to make at quarterback. Paying Sam Darnold feels like a trap and if he doesn't feel JJ McCarthy will be ready or healthy then bring Cousins back.
There is no doubt that Cousins hopes to reunite with the Vikings. It is the best landing spot for the future of his career based on talent and chemistry. Don't be shocked if the two sides link back up in the coming months.
2. Kirk Cousins would agree to play for the San Francisco 49ers
If Kirk Cousins' old team doesn't want him back then the San Francisco 49ers would be his next most desired destination.
The 49ers are in a strange spot where their supposed franchise quarterback Brock Purdy is due for a new contract but is coming off the worst season in his young career. If they aren't convinced with Purdy then Kyle Shanahan could revert to one of his favorite players, Kirk Cousins.
Cousins would be inserted into an offense that could land him in a Super Bowl. There is plenty of talent, even if the offensive line is a question mark, and Shanahan is a great playcaller. This is one of the destinations the veteran quarterback would absolutely love.
3. Kirk Cousins would agree to play for the Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts had some of the worst quarterback play in the NFL. Their hopeful franchise quarterback Anthony Richardson was incredibly inaccurate which could prompt head coach Shane Steichen to look for an established, accurate passer.
Kirk Cousins is the perfect choice and there is reason to think Cousins would be perfectly fine landing with the Colts. His new offense would have great players like Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, and Jonathan Taylor.
In addition, the Colts have a high-upside offensive line that could offer a level of protection for Cousins next year that many teams cannot replicate.
