1. Falcons must outbid Washington Commanders for Myles Garrett
It is no secret that the Washington Commanders are sitting pretty right now. After an out-of-nowhere season, they are top three in cap space and hold seven picks in April's draft.
Without a game-changing pass rusher, Myles Garrett will be their prime offseason target. Dan Quinn wants to fix the position and avoid what ruined his defenses in Atlanta. There is no better option than the former Defensive Player of the Year.
On the flip side, why wouldn't Garrett want to join the Commanders? They have a superstar quarterback and supporting cast and have plenty of money to get even better this offseason.
2. Falcons must outbid Green Bay Packers for Myles Garrett
The Green Bay Packers are in win-now mode and with a solid amount of cap space and a full slate of draft picks, they will be aggressive this offseason.
There is no move more aggressive than trading for Myles Garrett. Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst already made his thoughts known about his team's pass rush, and they were not positive -- Garrett can change that.
As with the Commanders, there is good reason for the No. 1 pick to agree to play for the Pack. They have their talented quarterback under contract and a young group of skill players. Adding one of the best pass rushers to that team could change their playoff fortunes next season.
Falcons must outbid Los Angeles Chargers for Myles Garrett
The Chargers are a commonly mentioned team when it comes to Myles Garrett, and for good reason.
Last year, their defense was great. Their pass rush was one of the best in the league but that won't continue into next season if they don't make sweeping changes. Khalil Mack is a free agent and Joey Bosa can't stay healthy -- they need to retool the position.
Fortunately for them, they are flush with draft picks and cap space. They hold a pick in every round except the seventh (thanks to the Falcons) and two in the sixth. They are projected to be sixth in cap space with just under $65 million.
