Atlanta Falcons vs. the Green Bay Packers

On Sunday, October 30, the Atlanta Falcons host fellow NFC conference member the Green Bay Packers. This will be an important game for both teams.

The Falcons will be looking to get back to their winning ways. The Packers, on the other hand, will be out to prove to their critics that they are indeed Super Bowl contenders.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers slowly creeping up on the division-leading Falcons, a win over the Packers would go a long way towards ensuring that Atlanta makes the playoffs.

At this point in the season, the Falcons are 4-3. If they lose to the Packers, they would slip to 4-4. After the debacle that was last season, this coaching staff cannot afford to take a three-game losing streak.

Overall, expect to see a hard-fought game from both teams.

Atlanta’s Keys to Victory

If Matt Ryan can get hot early and Devonta Freeman can carry the rushing attack, then the Falcons offense should overwhelm the flimsy Green Bay Packers defense. Defensively, Vic Beasly must continue his sizzling start and get to Aaron Rodgers early.

O/U-2.5 Falcons

Prediction

I expect the Falcons to get back on track. After taking harsh losses in back-to-back weeks, it is time for this team to get revenge. Additionally, Aaron Rodgers is looking mortal. While this Falcons defense isn’t amazing, it is good enough to take advantage of a team that isn’t unified.

Final Score

33-24 Atlanta Falcons
