THOMAS DECOUD, FS
One of the most criticized players on the team, DeCoud faced constant adversity in 2013. The 2012 Pro-Bowler didn’t benefit from a lackluster pass rush, but he often took bad angles, and was a liability in coverage. Now his coverage woes this year were a bit surprising due to the 6 interceptions he produced in 2012, but this year he seemed lost at times. With a 4.8 million cap hit next year, Dimitroff may feel comfortable letting the Free Safety go.
If DeCoud is shown the door, expect Atlanta to be a major player in the Jairus Byrd sweepstakes.
UPDATE: Reports have the Falcons cutting DeCoud before March 15th.
