NOTABLE WALKS
DT Jonathan Babineaux
Even though Jonathan is a fan-favorite in the Falcons community, he will likely be looking for that final payday of his career. Atlanta will be looking to get younger on the defensive line, so it looks as though the 32 year old Babineaux will not be returning unless he takes a lesser role with a substantially lower contract.
DT Peria Jerry
The underachieving former 1st round pick never lived up to expectations. This a probable departure, unless Jerry wants to continue his rotational role with a veteran minimum contract.
OT Mike Johnson
Johnson looked to be the team’s starting RT during training camp last summer, but suffered a season ending ankle injury before playing a single game. Atlanta will look to get tougher on the offensive line, so him a player coming back from injury doesn’t really help the cause.
OT Jermey Trueblood
Atlanta only brought Trueblood in due to the Mike Johnson injury, and he played down right awful. Let the guy go, and bring in new competition.
OTHER WALKS
