5. Get Some Pass Rush
The Falcons had a pathetic pass rush last year. Atlanta finished with just 32 sacks, tying them for 29th overall in the league. Osi Umenyiora was the only player with more than five sacks in 2013, and he isn’t getting any younger.
Atlanta could try to upgrade the pass rush in free agency, but that can get really expensive. They would be better off targeting someone with the 6th overall pick in the draft, someone like Anthony Barr or Khalil Mack. Or, they could try to trade up for Jadeveon Clowney, that would be nice.
