Round 6: WR L’Damian Washington, Missouri

Important Stat: Caught 10 touchdowns in 2013.

We all know Roddy and Harry are both getting up there in age, but what some fans don’t know is that Falcons free agents Drew Davis and Kevin Cone haven’t been resigned.  They won’t need to be, because this draft is full of talent at all positions.  With that being said, Dimitroff can add depth and competition at the wide receiver position by drafting a tall and explosive wideout from a school very familiar to current players on the team.

Add L’Damian Washington into a group of pass catchers with Roddy White and Julio Jones, and Matt Ryan will be looking at some possible MVP stats come the end of next season.  Washington possesses the big play threat, and his 6’4″ frame gives him an advantage on jump balls.  Best case scenario is L’Damian impresses enough to warrant a starting role in the slot.  Worst case, he remains as depth behind an already premiere receiving corps.
