Round 6, Pick 182: NT Zach Kerr, Maryland

Behind Paul Soliai, the Falcons don’t have a legitimate Nose Tackle, and would be in quite the predicament if he were to go down.

Zach Kerr, 6’1″ 326, could end up being the steal of the entire draft.  Clocking in a 5.08 40 yard dash, Kerr is surprisingly very quick for his size, and is more athletic than other prospects playing his position.  Like Soliai, he literally eats up blockers.  He’s a team player, and is very dedicated to the game.

With Mike Nolan rotating defensive lineman, Kerr could instantly see playing time to keep from Soliai getting overworked.
