FS Dezmen Southward
Despite not being the most consistent player while at Wisconsin, Southward may very well have been the most physically gifted off all the safeties in the 2014 draft class. Coming in at 6 ft and 211 lbs, Southward has magnificent size for a defensive back. Add that to an unnoficial 4.31 40 time, and a 42″ vert, you have major potential in this newest Falcon. Lowery is a solid player, but with Dezmen’s upside, I see the rookie beating him out.
