2nd year corner Desmond Trufant is quickly establishing himself as one of the best picks of the Dimitroff era. A phenomenal 2013 got the young DB countless accolades from around the NFL world, and should have warranted a Pro Bowl.
If you want to talk impressive CB play, look at Desmond Trufant with no pass rush in Atlanta.

Even without a consistent pass rush, and free safety, Trufant held his own against some of the better talent the NFL has to offer. But, when you lose, you are overlooked. A winning season will get some well deserved recognition for one of the brightest young stars in the league. If Trufant can turn one or two more deflections into interceptions, we’re looking at some Pro Bowl consideration.
