It’s a no-brainer why Matt Ryan is on this list. The media spends entirely too much of their time analyzing and speculating about him, and so do the fans. The majority of the fans that have a hard time accepting Ryan are those that just can’t seem to let Michael Vick go. Apparently Ryan isn’t as “exciting” or “entertaining” as Vick. Yet, he has put up some impressive numbers so far in his time with Atlanta and he’s not done.
Let’s get real. Vick hasn’t donned the red and black jersey since 2006. It’s been almost 10 years, it’s time to move on. He plays for another team now. Vick is gone and Ryan is here to stay. What else is there to say? No one’s saying you absolutely have to like Matt Ryan, but if you are claiming to be a huge fan of a team, you should probably stand behind and support the players on that team.
