Some fans were a little wary when the Falcons announced they had signed Steven Jackson last year. Although everyone was curious about how he would do in Atlanta, there were a few obvious concerns. He had a lot of miles on him and a good amount of people were worried about him being injury-prone due to his age. It definitely didn’t help his case when he didn’t even make it a fourth of a way through the 2013 season before suffering a thigh injury. That’s when the real criticism began.
Now this year, with the season right around the corner, fans are not sure what to expect from Jackson. Maybe with a better offensive line, along with staying fully healthy, he will have a more productive season in 2014. But ever since the Falcons drafted Devonta Freeman out of FSU, a large number of fans are actually hoping he will beat out Jackson in training camp this summer. Ouch!
