It’s the superstar Julio Jones vs Captain “Cap” Munnerlyn.
We all know who Julio is. Through three games, this superstar has racked up over 360 yards while hauling in 3 TD’s. Here’s a very small sneak peek of what him and Matt Ryan were able to do so far.
And just to prove his insane talent:
To summarize it for you, number 11 on the Atlanta Falcons is….”elite.” More like Calvin Johnson level.
But this week, he will face a tough task against the Captain Munnerlyn.
Munnerlyn is a highly underrated player that was regarded as a top-10 cornerback by experts who actually watched his film. He came to the Vikings just this year after the Carolina Panthers let him test free agency and he struck a contract for 3 years for 15 million dollars, with over 7 million being guaranteed money. To say the team got a bargain is undeniable.
Despite only being 5’9, Captain has the ability to stick with any wide receiver in the league with his quickness and play-making abilities. Some compare him to Brandon Flowers, who is regarded as one of the best in the business but also stands at 5’9.
This will be fun, probably the most exciting one yet.
