After getting pro bowl production from the greatest tight end of all time for the final five years of his career, the Falcons have struggled to fill the mighty shoes of Tony Gonzalez since his retirement. Thomas Dimitroff has done a poor job replacing the future hall of famer, despite having a year’s notice of his retirement. Levine Toilolo, who was a 5th round pick out of Stanford two years ago, has been handed the keys to the position, but is obviously not a starting caliber player in the NFL. We turn our attention to the tight end position today, with possibly the best TE in the free agent pool this offseason, Julius Thomas.
