Brian Orakpo

A popular choice amongst Falcons fans, the once dominant Orakpo has suffered a decrease in production since repeatedly tearing his pectoral muscle in both 2012 and 2014. A hard-nosed linebacker, the three time Pro Bowl linebacker has the highest ceiling of any of the remaining options. Unfortunately, the Falcons might not get a shot at him. Orakpo has been frequently linked with visits with the Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans. The Titans, attempting to compensate for the loss of Morgan, are using Orakpo’s former Texas teammate Michael Griffin to attempt to woo the ex-Redskins linebacker. While he isn’t what he once was, the 28 year old Orakpo still has a lot to offer, and his veteran presence and ceiling should he return to his peak are much desired traits. However, it seems unlikely that both Tennessee and Arizona let Orakpo leave without a contract, so Thomas Dimitroff and co might not get a chance to pursue the standout.

Update: Orakpo has signed with Tennessee per Adam Schefter and McClure, taking another option off the market.
