Atlanta Falcons: Why Re-signing Biermann Was Good Move

The Atlanta Falcons re-signed Kroy Biermann yesterday, and the move was highly criticized by fans and journalists alike. The eighth year player from Montana played below average last year, and struggled in both his pass rushing and coverage. Because of this, it didn’t come as much surprise to anyone when Biermann went unsigned after the first week of free agency.

On Wednesday, however, the Atlanta Falcons announced that they had signed him to a new contract. This news seemed to dishearten many fans who were disappointed in his performance last year, but in reality it wasn’t that bad of a move. Here’s why:
