As Atlanta Falcons fans, we all know how important undrafted rookie free agents can be. Offensive lineman James Stone was one last season, and he made a big contribution to the team.
Even future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates was an undrafted free agent back in 2003.
"“Just on last year’s UDFA class alone, players such as offensive lineman James Stone, wide receiver Bernard Reedy, linebacker Jacques Smith, and others made a contribution to the team. It could be playing time in the pre-season, regular season, or a spot on the team’s practice squad.” Eric Robinson, BloggingDirty.com"
In this series, we will be going over each undrafted free agent. First is Eric Lefeld.
