In 2014, the NFC South was the worst division in football. This season, they might be the strongest division at the quarterback position.

Drew Brees, Matt Ryan and Cam Newton are amongst the best quarterbacks in the National Football League, and they are now joined by Jamies Winston. Winston is the most pro-ready passer to come out of the 2015 NFL Draft and was the smart choice by Tampa Bay with the first overall pick.

Franchise quarterbacks are hard to find, so to potentially have four in the same division is rare, and could make for some interesting battles in the coming years.

But who is the best quarterback in the NFC South?

Drew Brees would have been the easy choice a year ago, but his performances somewhat declined in 2014. Despite what was a disappointing season by his standards, he still led the NFL in passing yards.

Matty Ice has just turned 30 years old, and is entering the best years of his career; Cam Newton is a rising star in Carolina.

So who is No. 1? Let’s rank ’em.
