Atlanta Falcons’ top five players under the age of 30

5) Matt Bosher, P (Age 27)

Many people leave out special teams players on list’s like these, but not mine! Matt Bosher has very quietly turned into one of the leagues best young punters. Bosher induced more fair catches (28) than returns (26), and finished at No. 6 in average net yards in both 2013 and 2014. Bosher’s plus-26.5 PFF rating was good enough for the leagues fourth best. His maximum hang time came in at 5.54 seconds which again was tied for fourth best in the NFL. His 28 fair catches was third-most, while his 40.7 net yards was seventh best. Now sure, you could argue that Bosher should be placed behind Trufant in third place, but at this point we are just just splitting hairs. All of these players are very deserving to make this list, especially Bosher.
