Ryan Tannehill’s game has been improving steadily each year, but there is still work to do to get to the next level.

Last season, he posted career-best numbers in completions (392), completion percentage (66.4), passing yards (4,045), touchdowns (27), interceptions (12) and passer rating (92.8). That’s encouraging for the Dolphins, and for fantasy owners who pick him up.

Tannehill’s 278.50 points last season made him the eighth-best quarterback on fantasy football, above Tom Brady.

Entering his fourth season as a pro, we expect him to make another step up. Not only should his personal performances improve, but he now has plenty of firepower around him.

The Dolphins are rich with wide receivers with Jarvis Landry, Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills and rookie DeVante Parker. Tight end Jordan Cameron was also added to replace Charles Clay.

Tannehill can also pick up some extra points on the ground. In three seasons, he has run the football 145 times for 760 yards and four touchdowns.

The best is yet to come with Ryan Tannehill. If he continues to improve his game, combined with the talent surrounding him, he should be able to make the step up to the next level and really help your fantasy team.
