Desmond Trufant has been one of the lone bright spots on the Falcons’ defense as of late and he is only heading into year three. Trufant has proved that he is one of the leagues top cover corners and his pass deflections and tackles are through the roof.

How Trufant hasn’t made it to a pro bowl yet is beyond me, but if he keeps doing what he does best, the awards will come. It is safe to say that Trufant will be a cornerstone of the Falcons’ defense for many years to come.
