Desmond Trufant is another no-brainer on this list of Atlanta Falcons to build a franchise around. Trufant has quickly become one of the leagues best cover corners and is only 24 years old. Trufant is very much an underrated player and that is fine by me.

In his first two seasons in the NFL, Trufant has a ton of pass deflections and tackles and was the leader for the Falcons’ defense in 2014. Is Trufant a top 10 cornerback in the NFL? Absolutely. Why wouldn’t he be with the two great seasons under his belt.
