Atlanta Falcons: Five players who risk getting cut in 2015

Before the Falcons dipped their toes into free agency this year, Stansly Maponga was very high on the depth chart for a shot at an LEO position. This seemed extremely scary, and not in a good way. To fix this problem, the Falcons added O’brien Schofield, Justin Durant and Vic Beasley who are all now ahead of him on the depth chart.

According to Dan Quinn, competing for the staring LEO spot include, Beasley, Biermann, Schofield, Maponga and Jaques Smith. There isn’t a need at the position after Schofield which is why I believe Maponga gets axed, but I don’t feel as strong about it as I do with the next three players.
