If you haven’t heard of Red Lightning then you are truly missing out on something quite special. He has made a name for himself by his passion for his favorite college football team, the Florida State Seminoles. He worked as an ACC ball boy and seemed to always find himself onto sportscenter for some outrageously funny antic involving him and the Seminoles.

Twitter exploded when the news broke that Red Lightning would be joining the Atlanta Falcons as an equipment intern for training camp. This news warranted over 15,000 retweets on several major twitter accounts.

There is no guarantee that you will get to see him in action while at training camp, but my bet is you will. His beard and hair need to be trademarked and his personality should be enshrined into the hall of fame. If we get to witness him on the sidelines of Falcons’ games then we are in for a huge treat my friends. Is he the best offseason acquisition this year? He just might be.
