Two of the biggest free agent acquisitions for the Atlanta Falcons are headed in opposite directions through five days of practice. Durant has dealt with a nagging injury which forced him out of the last two practices. Brooks Reed is still battling through a hip injury dating back to the offseason which forced him out of today’s practice.
Durant was back in full pads for day five and saw quite a bit of action. Durant hasn’t had a lot of time out on the field but seems to be getting healthier with each passing day. Reed on the other hand has no exact time-table for a return. It could be tomorrow, or it could be a week. At this point Dan Quinn and the Falcons will take it day-by-day and play it by ear with Reed.
