Atlanta Falcons: Who is taking advantage of training camp?
Undrafted free agent Terron Ward is taking full advantage of the banged up Atlanta Falcons back field. Ward first got an opportunity when Tevin Coleman went down with an injury and hasn’t looked back since. Ward stands at just 5-7 and weights a whopping 201 pounds. His large frame allows him to withstand a beating during a game, something that offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is looking for.
At this point in time, Ward is making a case for one of the 53 roster spots, but is going to be guaranteed at least a practice squad spot if he keeps this up. Look for Ward to have a good scrimmage tonight at Buford High School.
