Can you feel that? It’s football, and it’s finally back. The Atlanta Falcons kick off their preseason with a home game against the Tennessee Titans. Both teams are looking to start afresh after disappointing 2014 seasons.

We get a chance to witness Dan Quinn’s first game as head coach, and begin to get a feel for the identity he wants stamped on the team.

The starters will get an opportunity to play, albeit briefly, but these preseason games are all about player development and determining who fits where on the depth chart.

The Falcons will be without a few key players, including cornerback Desmond Trufant and running backs Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman. The former doesn’t need to prove himself and would likely be pulled out the game early anyway, although missing the two backs is frustrating for Quinn.

I can’t believe it but football is finally here. Let’s breakdown this preseason contest.
