Chris Johnson is still a free agent, but may not be for very much longer. Johnson has been in the league since 2008 and had tremendous start to his career before falling off in the past couple of seasons. Johnson is set to take a physical with the Arizona Cardinals, but the Falcons could possibly join in on that if Antone Smith’s injury is worse than expected.

Johnson may not be a great scheme fit, but the Falcons are desperate for a running game in 2015 and at the moment don’t have anyone with healthy legs to do so.
