Prince Shembo was drafted by the Falcons in 2014 and had a solid rookie year. However, Shembo was released from the team after charges were raised after he kicked and killed his ex-girlfriends dog. Shembo recently accepted a misdemeanor charge and is now able to sign with any NFL team that wants him.
The Falcons are in need of outside linebacker depth with the injury to projected starter Brooks Reed and Shembo could fill that void. In a recent poll from the Atlanta Journal Constitution in which 2,654 people voted, 1,557 voted yes to the Falcons re-signing him. Another 283 voted maybe. The team said they would evaluate his situation and go from there. It is a real possibility that the team could re-sign Shembo in the coming days. Would you?
