Atlanta Falcons: Winners and losers from preseason win over Titans

In order for Julio Jones to succeed, the Falcons will need Matt Ryan to give him the ball. That wasn’t a problem in game one as Ryan found Jones four times to add to his total of six completions for 86 yards and a touchdown. This was good enough for a 14.3 average per throw and a 158.3 passer rating n the night.

Ryan also connected with new receiver Leonard Hankerson for 13 yards and a first down as well as fullback Patrick DiMarco for 12 yards. Ryan made quick work of the Titans defense and carved them up to cap off a 91-yard touchdown drive. So far, so good for Ryan and the Falcons’ passing game.
