4) Ricardo Allen, FS

Ricardo Allen has been plugged into the free safety role in just the last five or so months and had done a tremendous job of it. Dan Quinn had a vision of what Allen was and turned it into fruition. Allen has the speed to cover the ground and the ball skills to make a play in the air when need be.

Allen also packs a punch. At just 185 pounds, Allen isn’t afraid to lower the helmet on someone and make his presence known. Allen is young and won’t be perfect in his first year at free safety, but with his hard work ethic and great attitude, Allen is headed in the right direction without a doubt.
