10. WR Breshad Perriman, Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens spent their first round pick on Torrey Smith’s replacement, Breshad Perriman. The receiver out of Central Florida has all of the tools to become a key player in the Ravens’ offense.
Perriman has the size and speed to be a real handful to defenses. His route running needs sharpening, but his athleticism and raw skills will make him a dangerous weapon for Joe Flacco in the passing game.
Steve Smith Sr. has announced that 2015 will be his final season, and the veteran wideout showed signs of his age in the backend of last season. There’s no guarantee he will be able to contribute as he did early on last term, meaning Perriman’s role could grow.
With the loss of Torrey Smith and Owen Daniels, as well as the injury problems to Dennis Pitta, Flacco will be relying on a lot of young talent on offense.
The downside is the Ravens will be leaning on the ground game heavily with Justin Forsett. But as ever, there should be plenty of opportunity for the receivers to put up nice production. Perriman is worth a shot late on.
