Since entering the league 2011, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been on of the leagues best as a dual-threat player. Newton eclipsed the 4,000 yard mark through the air as a rookie and rushed for 706 yards and 14 touchdowns. Newton is arguably the best dual-threat quarterback in the NFL and has led the Panthers to back-to-back NFC South titles.
Newton has been a very good NFL quarterback, but has seen his numbers slip off from his outstanding rookie season. In fact, Newton has had his yards decrease each and every year and has seen a decrease in his rushing yards as well. 2014 was Newton’s lowest touchdown season and lowest rating in his four-year career. Newton is still a great quarterback and has a lot of good years ahead of him.
