Brandon Browner was brought over from the New England Patriots and is expected to be a big part of the Saints’ secondary in 2015. However, it isn’t off to a fast start. Browner suffered an apparent leg injury last Thursday and hasn’t practiced since. The injury isn’t considered to be serious, but it is at the very least a set back.

Browner took a helmet to the knee in practice which could have led to a very serious injury, so there is a sliver lining to this. The Saints should be very relieved that this didn’t cause ligament damage. Browner may or may not play in this weeks preseason game but should be ready to go by week one at the very latest.
