Dezmen Southward has been very disappointing since the Falcons drafted him in the third round last year and may be taking his talents else where at the end of the preseason. Southward is going through a position change from free safety to corner back and is struggling with the change.

Southward has been beat on defense time and time again during training camp and the first two preseason games and has looked like a liability rather than a player that can improve. Southward is apart of the dreaded 2014 draft class that has already lost three members and could possibly lose two more by the end of the preseason.
