As the preseason comes to a close, and we so slowly inch towards the Monday Night Football opener, there are a few question marks that remain unanswered for the Atlanta Falcons. We know what Matt Ryan is capable of, and the same can be said for Julio Jones. However there are many other areas that have some issues.

The Falcons’ starting running backs haven’t seen much time on the field this preseason, so what will the rushing attack look like? The backup quarterback situation is a three man race, who will come out on top? Will Ricardo Allen prove to be a competent FS during the regular season? All of these questions and more have been at the focus of the minds of Falcons fans throughout the offseason.

The preseason gives a minor indication of a team’s problems, though it is not the deciding factor on if a team does well or not when the regular season rolls around. Some of the Falcons’ acquisitions have looked great, while others, not so much. While we as a fan base must have faith in Coach Quinn and his new system, realistically those questions could turn into major problems. Let’s take a look at three questions that need answers.
