With all four preseason games down and roster cuts in full flow, which players’ stock has risen? Against the Ravens, it was the last chance to leave a positive impression on head coach Dan Quinn in a bid to make the roster. Every year, there are players who grab the opportunity out of nowhere and earn their spot.

Now, three of the four men on this list weren’t in any risk of losing their spot on the roster, but they were still fighting for position and game time. The difference between a strong preseason and a poor one can be starting Week 1 or being used in rotation.

The preseason evaluation is over, which means the next time the Atlanta Falcons step onto a football field, it counts. But these preseason games are far from pointless. While they are of little benefit to the starters, especially in this fourth contest, they provide the players on the roster bubble a chance to make their mark, while also giving the rookies reps to get a feel of action in the National Football League.
