A lot needs to be fixed

The Falcons pulled out the win, but a lot of things need to be addressed. Penalties were a big part of the game for both teams. the Falcons racked up 57 yards of penalties, two of which came on screen’s to Julio Jones.
Secondly, the Falcons need to improve on their stamina. It is only the first game of the year, but the Falcons’ defense was gassed in the fourth quarter. If it weren’t for a clutch drop from the Eagles, the Falcons just might have lost on a last second field goal.
And lastly, the Falcons’ offensive line needs to do a better job of pass protection. At times the O-line looked really good, but at other looked really bad. I will give them a pass one week-1. The unit had not played a single game together with, but that excuse cannot be used going forward.
Overall, it was a great win for the Falcons. The team is 1-0 and will now travel up to New Jersey to take on the New York Giants next Sunday.
