The culture has changed in Atlanta. The Falcons’ Matt Ryan went on record saying that he feels as if he has been traded, yet is still on the same team. Look at the coaches around him. They are all different with the exception to the wide receivers’ coach and special teams’ coach.

How would that make you feel as a quarterback? I would think the same thing, but with that means a new atmosphere. The Falcons’ head coach Dan Quinn is brought a fresh new atmosphere to Atlanta and has already instilled a winning mentality.

Quinn is a defense guy. He always has been. So what has he done to improve the defense? Just watch the Falcons vs Eagles game and you will see the difference from years’ past. On top of Quinn, the Falcons have a brand new offensive coordinator in Kyle Shanahan.

Shanahan is an offensive wizard. He is destined to be an NFL head coach, but for now is in full control of Ryan and the offense and that is just fine by me. Shanahan is bring back something the Falcons haven’t done in several years. That being a simplified offense. The Falcons are returning back to the play-action pass and screen game, but most importantly are running the ball more.

This is a recipe for success for the Falcons in 2015 and beyond. A winning mentality, a defensive minded coach and a offensive coordinator who knows what it takes to be successful. Let’s keep it rolling.
