4) Improved run game

The Atlanta Falcons showed against the Eagles that they can and will run the ball in 2015. Rookie running back Tevin Coleman rushed for 80 yards on 20 carries and at times looked really good. In order for the Falcons to score a lot of points, the run game will need to get going. If it can the Falcons will have no problem scoring 30 plus points a game.
Shanahan loves to run play-action passes on offense. If the running game is successful, the play-action pass is successful. If the running game is bad, well you know where i’m going with this. One thing the Falcons need to do a better job of going forward is getting Devonta Freeman worked into the offense. Freeman struggled in week one and was shut down more times than not. Regardless, the Falcons’ running game is looking very promising.
