Keenan Allen led all wide receivers in receiving yards in week 1, but that isn’t enough to credit him as the number one wide receiver of the week. Allen caught a whopping 15 passes for 166 yards, three of which went for 20 or more yards.

Allen has had a very solid career while with the San Diego Chargers and is appearing to be the team’s number one guy for 2015. Why didn’t Allen wind up in the number one spot? He didn’t score a touchdown, and itt took him 15 catches to get him to 166 yards. That’s an average of 11.1 which is good, but not the greatest. However, Allen still had a great week.
