The coaches

On Sunday, Dan Quinn lines up with one of the best in the game, Tom Coughlin. The 69-year-old Coughlin has had an incredible career, landing his first NFL head coach job with the newly-formed Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995. After going 68-60 during his time in Jacksonville with two division titles, Coughlin was fired. He joined up with the Giants in 2004 and hasn’t looked back, leading the G-Men to three division titles, five playoff berths and more importantly, two Super Bowl victories.

Quinn is on the opposite end of the spectrum, at the very beginning of his career as a head coach. If he was to retire now, he would surely go down as the greatest head coach of all-time with a 100 percent win record. Or maybe not. Let’s look at the numbers.

Coughlin has the experience, but Quinn has the fire and energy of a young head coach. This should be an intriguing battle between two coaches at polar opposite stages of their careers.
