The quarterbacks

This will be a battle between two excellent quarterbacks. Both are almost identical in size, and both have been great leaders of their respective offenses. Eli Manning has led the Giants to two Super Bowl wins in 2007 and 2011, and picked up the Super Bowl MVP award both times. Since his last championship, the Giants haven’t returned to the playoffs.

With all the turbulence surrounding the Falcons in recent years, one position that has remained reliable and consistent is at quarterback, which is a credit to Matt Ryan. Even with the league’s worst defense last season, Ryan and the offense were a Week 17 win away from the postseason.

Both players are graced with weapons at receiver. Ryan has Julio Jones and Roddy White, while Manning has Odell Beckham Jr. and, when healthy, Victor Cruz. For now it will be Rueben Randle, and he’s a player you shouldn’t sleep on.

Expect both passers to keep their respective offenses humming on Sunday in what should be an interesting offensive battle. Whoever throws the fewest picks may determine the outcome.
