Why to watch

Can Dan Quinn make it two from two? A win would mark the Falcons’ best start to a season since 2012, and we all know the story of that season. There is a sense of optimism around Falcons fans right now and it’s completely justified. In a short period of time, Quinn has given this team a burst of energy and a jolt of life.

The defense played lights out in the first half against the Eagles, and did enough to win in the second. The fact the defense was able to seal the game for Atlanta was a particularly encouraging sign. As Quinn reminded us though, this team is nowhere near as good as it’s going to be.

More good play from the pass rush should yield better results against a weaker offensive line this week, and the Falcons’ offense has all the firepower to put up points against the Giants. There’s plenty of optimism for the future, and we continue to learn about the 2015 Atlanta Falcons in this one.
