It’s one of the most frustrating things that can happen for your team in fantasy football. When that dreaded knee hits down just short of the goal line, and your player doesn’t get those fantasy points for scoring a touchdown.

The scenario I just described happened twice in the Falcons game on Sunday, and it cost Matt Ryan two extra touchdowns. The first time, it was Hankerson who was ruled down six inches from the goal line in the first quarter, and then Julio Jones was just short at the 1-yard line on the crucial game-winning drive. Both plays were initially ruled touchdowns, but were called back after further review.

It was a good day for the Atlanta Falcons overall. They got the win against a strong NFC foe in their building. It was a thrilling comeback and vintage Matt Ryan in the fourth quarter. A receiver was ruled down at the 1-yard line twice, but that ended up being a good thing for Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman, who scavenged touchdowns out of the ordeal.

Without further adieu, here is how the Falcons fared in fantasy football against the Giants and into Week 3.
